A Hybrid Server uses the same architecture as a VPS, however Hybrid Servers feature far fewer users per node. Performance on a Hybrid Server is therefore much better than in a traditional VPS environment.

It is not possible to install your own Operating System on a Hybrid Server. A variety of Linux & Windows Operating Systems can be installed with one-click from preconfigured templates. Customers who require full control of their OS should purchase a Dedicated Server.
No. Hybrid Servers are virtualized machines, sold with pre-configured resources. They do have guaranteed CPU, RAM & storage allocations, but you would need to purchase a new Hybrid Server if you wish to upgrade or downgrade system resources.
This depends on the Hybrid Server plan that you select. We offer Hybrid Servers with core configurations ranging from 2-4 cores.
Hybrid Servers do not support full virtualization technologies such as KVM or VMware. However, running OpenVZ is supported with little performance overhead.
We offer 5Gbps of DDoS protection for free on any Buffalo Hybrid Server. You can purchase up to 10Gbps in DDoS protection for an additional fee during checkout.
cPanel / WHM and Plesk are available for an additional fee during checkout.
Our Lite Series Hybrid Servers are connected to 100Mbps connections and our Performance Series Hybrid Servers are connected to 250Mbps connections.
