Server Mania Upgrades Network with Juniper MX Series Routers

Server Mania has selected the Juniper MX Series to increase the performance and reliability of its networks at current and future data centers.

Server Mania, an industry-leading dedicated and cloud hosting provider, has announced the completion of a network upgrade which has deployed of a number of Juniper MX960 routers.

This upgrade affirms Server Mania’s ongoing commitment to deliver the most high-powered hosting experience available. The added infrastructure serves as a pro-active measure to fulfill the brand’s 100% uptime SLA for years to come, in light of ever-evolving network security threats. As part of the Juniper MX-Series, the Ethernet-optimized MX960 is one of the largest Carrier Ethernet platforms in the industry.

Those that do aren’t always expected to use carrier-grade network infrastructure, which provides 99.999% availability and rapid fault recovery. The MX960 Universal Edge Router has a throughput of 260 Gbps per slot, and 9.92 Tbps of system capacity. It supports high-density interfaces, including 100GbE, 40GbE, 10GbE, and legacy formats: SONET/SDH, PDH, and ATM.
